Bodenham Litter Pick held on Saturday 6th November,
The photograph below shows the proceeds of the latest litter pick organised by Bodenham Parish Council,
and two of the intrepid and exhausted volunteers. 15 bags of rubbish were collected – plus an old bicycle, a
tyre and a discarded sign.
The Parish Council wishes to thank the volunteers, who, in alphabetical order, were: Rebecca Burnill, Thelma
Butcher, Jim Crane, Elwyn and Heather Davies, Chris Hemming, Robin George, Tom James-Moore, Dawn
Jones and children, Bobbie Lydon, Nan Murdoch, Linda Nicholas, Jenny Nicolson and Chris Smith. Apologies
to anyone whose name doesn’t appear here or is incorrect.
Thanks are also due to Helen Batchelor, Sharon Collin, Linda Nicholas and Pam James-Moore for preparing
the soup, bread rolls and coffee. Helen and Linda also found time to do some litter picking. The Parish
Council is grateful to Balfour Beatty for providing the litter-picking equipment and removing the rubbish.
The next litter pick will be held on Saturday 19th March 2022.
