Dear Neighbours,
Following several messages left on social media about anti social behaviour occurring particularly in the bus stops opposite England’s Gate and at the end of Chapel Lane, and within the alleyway at the end of the village green, information has been past to our local policing team who seem particularly interested in the apparent use of cannabis, highlighted by clearly identifiable litter left by the users.
So too are they following up on the fact that someone decided to shine a strong torch into the eyes of oncoming drivers, causing more than a nuisance, making it dangerous for all around.
We want to reassure our residents that as a Parish Council we take seriously reports of behaviour that upsets those who enjoy a quiet life in our village, and that we won’t tolerate actions that are unwelcome, anti social or unlawful.
Conversations with the Police are ongoing, as is their very proactive response.
