BODENHAM PARISH CLIMATE CONTROL PLAN
Your Parish Council declared a Climate Emergency in February 2022 in support of Herefordshire Council’s declared objectives of achieving Carbon Net Zero by 2030.
The Council wishes to bring together a small group of people in the community to consider the development of local initiatives, consider issues, explore ideas and prioritise actions to assist the achievement of this target.
The process will need to cover transport, energy, housing and buildings, waste, land use and farming, river health and food production. Issues will include improving and protecting wildlife, habitats, biodiversity and so on.
Climate control will be a central issue in the decision making process concerned with the development of the new Herefordshire Local Plan 2021-2041 now in its consultation phase.
